Sound familiar?
There are plenty of courses, software names and job titles, and they all sound alike. Tutorials only take you so far, and a certificate on its own does not open studio doors. What helps is a clear path, guided practice on real projects and people who can answer your questions.

If you are looking for a UI UX design course in Pune, start with the UI/UX & Interactive Design card. The other cards are neighbouring paths in graphic design, motion, animation and content that many designers add later.
A good UX design course in Pune should teach you to solve problems for real users and not just make screens look nice. At Arena Animation FC Road you follow the same steps a product team follows, so each project becomes a case study you can explain in an interview.
Talk to users, understand their needs and find the real problem before you design.
Map how a person moves through an app or website, and sketch the layout before adding visuals.
Use type, colour, spacing and components to build screens that are clear and attractive.
Turn your screens into clickable prototypes using design tools such as Figma, so ideas can be tested early.
Watch real people use your design, find where they struggle and fix it.
Build consistent components and rules so a product looks and works the same everywhere.
Present each project from problem to solution, the way hiring managers want to see it.
UX design is about how a product works for the person using it, which covers research, flows and testing. UI design is about how it looks, which covers layout, type, colour and components. Most beginners start with both, because the roles overlap and many companies hire one person for both. If you like understanding people and solving problems, lean toward UX. If you like visual craft, lean toward UI. A counsellor can help you decide in a short conversation.
Possible career paths
Typical roles people move into after training in UI/UX & Digital Design. Studios name them differently, so treat this as a guide to the kind of work you can aim for.
Placed and hired by studios
Arena Animation has long stood behind its students’ careers. Every student who completes a programme gets help moving into a creative career, from portfolio building to interview preparation.
Trusted by the best
Our graduates have gone on to work with product companies, design agencies, startups and media companies across India.
These are the students whose work our mentors are proudest of. Each card shows the student, the role they trained for and the project they built.
Each placement began as a portfolio built during the course. Here are some of our most recent.
What our UI/UX & Digital Design students say
Yes. You do not need a design background to start. Many students come from commerce, engineering, science and other fields. The course teaches design basics such as layout, type and colour first, then moves to research, flows and prototyping. Share your background with a counsellor and they will tell you how to begin.
No. Companies hire designers on the strength of their portfolio and their thinking, not on their degree. A different background can even help, because you understand other kinds of users and problems. The switch takes time and practice, so plan to build several case studies before you apply.
No. UI and UX design do not require you to code. Knowing how websites and apps are built helps you talk to developers, and some roles such as front end developer do involve code. Ask our counsellor what each programme covers, so you know how much technical work to expect.
The fee depends on the programme and its duration, since a short course and a 7 month programme cost very differently. Our team shares the exact fee and what it includes during counselling, along with EMI options and education loan support. Ask for the complete fee and batch timings before you decide on any institute.
Our Advanced Program in UI UX Design runs 7 months. A shorter course such as Master in UX is enough to learn the basics and see whether you enjoy the work. Reaching a level where companies hire you usually takes longer, because you need time to build a few strong case studies.
Check four things. Look at real student projects and case studies, not only ads. Ask who reviews your work and how often. Find out what placement support actually includes, for example portfolio workshops and mock interviews. Visit the centre and talk to current students. You can do all four at Arena Animation FC Road in a free counselling session.
UX design is about how a product works for the user, covering research, flows and usability. UI design is about how it looks, covering layout, type, colour and components. The two overlap, and most beginners learn both. A counsellor can help you choose the focus that suits you.
Yes. UI UX design is about clear thinking, layout and problem solving, not artistic drawing. If you can sketch a simple box layout, you can learn wireframing. Visual skills such as colour and type are taught in the course and improve with practice and feedback.
Build case studies from course projects. Show the problem, how you researched it, the options you tried and the final design, and explain why you made each decision. Hiring managers care about your thinking as much as your screens. Our placement cell runs portfolio workshops to help you shape your case studies before you apply.
You can learn the tools from free videos, and many designers start that way. What videos cannot give you is someone reviewing your work, telling you what to fix and pushing you to improve each version. A course also gives you structured projects, a portfolio and placement support. Choose the route that fits your discipline and budget.
Typical roles include UI designer, UX designer, UX researcher, product designer, interaction designer, web designer, app designer, design system designer and front end developer. No institute can honestly promise a job, because companies hire on the quality of your portfolio and your interview. We support you with portfolio workshops, mock interviews and introductions through our placement cell, and your work decides the result.
AI can speed up parts of design, such as drafting layouts or ideas, but products still need people who understand users, make decisions and test the result. Learning the fundamentals keeps you useful, and learning AI tools on top of them helps you work faster. If you want both, we offer a Gen AI programme alongside our design courses.
