Founded in 1995 by Academy Award-winning animator Lee Mishkin, VanArts has been shaping skilled professionals in media arts for over 25 years. The institute offers specialized diploma programs in Visual Effects Production, Game Art & Design, Character Animation, Photography, Acting, Web Development, and Broadcasting, preparing students for industry-specific careers.

About Langara
Langara College, located in Vancouver, BC, began in 1965 as part of Vancouver Community College and became an independent public college in 1994. It is also known as snəw̓eyəɬ leləm̓, meaning “house of teachings,” a name given by the Musqueam First Nation, on whose unceded land the college stands.
Today, Langara is one of British Columbia’s top undergraduate institutions, offering University Studies, Career Studies, and Continuing Studies programs. With over 23,000 students annually, it continues to provide quality education and career-focused learning opportunities.
